XNAT 1.7.2 Release Notes

XNAT 1.7.2 is primarily a bugfix release focused on issues related to user accounts, passwords, and XNAT administration.

General Fixes: 

  • XNAT System Accounts needed to be revealed in the Admin UI
  • Application logs needed full variable information for debugging
  • Disabling buttons in the Admin UI was non-functional


User Account / Password Reset Behavior

  • Fixed multiple critical issues with password handling
  • Applied business rules to


Management of Project Investigators

  • Resolved several usability issues with handling of newly-created investigators
  • Also allowed Admins to delete investigator listings through the Admin UI
