XNAT 1.8.5.1 Release Notes
XNAT 1.8.5.1 is a critical performance and security hotfix release, addressing issues that can become severe when XNATs scale up to support hundreds of public projects. This release is not a breaking change and does not affect any running plugins.
- XNAT-7155: Setting a project's permission to "public" results in a huge performance drag when there are already hundreds of other public projects in an XNAT
- XNAT-7162: Making changes to the Guest user's access (i.e. by making a project public) holds up subsequent calls until it is complete
This release also includes a cleanup operation that identifies and addresses a vestigial data sharing issue.
Please note that this release is concurrent with the Container Service 3.2.1 release, but there are no new dependencies introduced between these versions.
