XNAT is Now Available

XNAT is a hotfix release addressing a critical issue that was uncovered while deploying 1.8.10 in a high-throughput Multi-zone Discovery instance.

Under very heavy data import conditions, using many concurrent threads while archiving to multiple projects with different anonymization scripts, we found that anonymization could be improperly applied to a subset of imported data. We have worked diligently to reproduce this condition in test environments and  have it isolated and remedied with this hotfix release. This issue does not affect previous XNAT versions.

We encourage site administrators running XNAT 1.8.10 to update to XNAT

Full details are available in our XNAT Release Notes.

Upgrading is (fairly) easy!

The upgrade path from XNAT 1.8.x to XNAT is as easy as configuring your war file for the version of Tomcat you're running and dropping the new war file in place. Upgrading from the XNAT 1.7.x line is only mildly more arduous. See the XNAT Upgrade Instructions.
